Adriana Nicholson

Adriana Nicholson received her B.E. in Biomedical Engineering from Vanderbilt University in May, 2009. She was a process improvement engineer for two years, first at Roche Diagnostics and then at Raymond James Financial. She is now working towards her PhD in Biomedical Engineering at USC in the Medical Device Development Facility (MDDF.) In her current research, she is developing and testing the electronics of a percutaneously implantable fetal pacemaker, to be used in the treatment of fetal heart block. Her interests include RF communications in biomedical applications, medical devices, embedded system development and bioinformatics.
